Martinsville Artesians Baseball Varsity Clinches Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over West Vigo

Martinsville Artesians Baseball Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in an 8-3 victory over West Vigo on Friday. The game was tied at three with Martinsville Artesians Baseball Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when Peyton Lewis singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Martinsville Artesians Baseball Varsity earned the victory despite allowing West Vigo to score three runs in the fourth inning. West Vigo scored its runs on a home run by Minton.
