Our Martinsville Boys Cross Country Team traveled to the Lavern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute to compete in the Nike Twilight Invitational. Carson Heath competed in the championship race finishing with a 16:47. David Eggleton and Colin Sears competed in the freshman/sophmore race. David finished with a time of 18:04 and Colin finished with a time of 24:36. Griffin Worzella lead the way for us in the open race with a 18:52, Logan Worzella was next with a time of 19:55, Austin Vandagrifft had a 20:40, Ethan Henson had a 20:46, Hayden Miles had a 20:52, Everett Renner had a 23:29 and Jonah Wolfe had a 24:05. There were a total of 859 runners in our three races. Overall, it was a great night to run and a great experience going into Sectionals this Saturday.
